David Hodge

David began his career in 1997 as a carpet and upholstery cleaner for a small business in Tennessee and from that point on he dedicated himself to learning and practicing in most every part of the cleaning and restoration industry. Over the next 15 years, David earned Triple Master status with the IICRC, as well as, the Mold Removal Specialist designation. David has processed or consulted on close to 3,000 property damage claims. His expertise in Fire and Smoke has made him an industry leader in providing extensive hands-on training.
David currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Technical Advisory Committee at the IICRC for the Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician course. Outside of the cleaning and restoration industry, David was also a Fire Fighter / EMT-Advanced for 8 years. He is currently working on attaining his Bachelor Degree in Fire Science from Grand Canyon University. Among his certifications received in the restoration industry, he also received certification and/or licensing as:
State of Tennessee Fire Fighter Instructor Level 1
State of Tennessee Advanced EMT
Tennessee Emergency Management Agency Hazardous Materials Technician
Many other state and first responder certifications


Rachel Adams

Rachel Adams has been involved in the water damage and environmental health industries for more than 23 years. She holds a dual bachelor degree in Environmental Health Sciences and Medical Technology (Toxicology) from Purdue University. She is certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. She also holds a Master Restorer designation from the IICRC through her training, dedication and field experience.

Rachel was founder and President of Indoor Environmental Management, Inc (IEM) in 1994 in which she conducts inspections of both residential and commercial buildings throughout the country. IEM grew to develop one of the leading consulting and state-of-the art laboratory serving the needs of clients throughout the country. She serves as an expert witness for litigations involving both defendants and plaintiffs. Her ability to provide data interpretation and evaluate protocols has made her a preferred specialist in her field. As an OSHA outreach trainer, she provides health and safety audits, training and regulatory compliance.

Rachel served on the Board of Directors for the IICRC and was appointed to serve as the Technical Advisory Committee Chair for the development of the IICRC Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT). Rachel serves on the committee to write and establish guidelines and updates for the standard of care for mold remediation, also referred to as the S520, Standard and Reference Guide for Professional Mold Remediation. Courses that she currently provides for IICRC certification include, AMRT, WRT, ASD, WRT/ASD Combo, HST, OSHA 10 and 30 hour compliance courses, Lead RRP Licensing Training, Building Investigation and Environmental Microbiology Sampling.


Destry Ransdell

Is the President of TEC Pro which provides training, education and consulting to companies in the restoration/remediation industry. He is also an IICRC Instructor, an IICRC Certified Master Textile Cleaner, Master Water Restorer and Master Fire and Smoke Restorer. He has worked in the remediation/restoration industry for 12 years as an estimator, project manager and technician and has even been a Health & Safety Director for several employers. Destry still remains in the field as a consultant and trainer, which keeps him on top of the best practices, newest methods and equipment. Prior to this, Destry worked in the reconstruction field. Destry has become very familiar with the building envelope, construction practices and materials. Destry not only brings real world hands on training to you, but he makes it fun and interesting. Destry currently provides IICRC instruction in WRT, ASD, WRT/ASD Combo and AMRT
